About Tippett Farm, Self-Catering Farmhouse

Tippett Farm is a spacious, grade II listed, four bedroom self-catering farmhouse with original features.  It is in a peaceful setting, surrounded by open countryside with spectacular views.

Our self-catering cottage prices vary to reflect the number of bedrooms used, but whichever option you choose you will have sole use of the rest of the house.

Tippett Farm self-catering farmhouse, is away from the hustle and bustle but only 10 minutes from the motorway. The nearest shops are ½ mile (750m) away. Parking for up to 4 vehicles is secure and free.

Nestling in the lee of a hill in a hidden valley, this 18th century, stone cottage provides very flexible self-catering accommodation and unlike many self-catering properties the minimum stay is only 2 nights.

Located right on the Mary Towneley Loop Bridleway and only 1/4mile from the Pennine Way, the cottage is ideal for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riders.  The facilities for children are excellent with plenty to see and do in the area.  Pets are allowed by prior arrangement.

The farmhouse sleeps 2-8 people and provides very flexible sleeping arrangements in up to 4 bedrooms. Upstairs there are two twin bedrooms and one double room with vanity unit and adjacent w.c.  The main bathroom has a w.c., washbasin, bath and separate shower.

Downstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, lounge/dining room and fully fitted kitchen equipped with: microwave oven, electric oven, electric hob, fridge-freezer and automatic washing machine.

Spacious bathroom

The cottage is fed by its own natural spring water, without any additives It has attractive gardens to the front with patio and outdoor eating area at the rear of the property. There is a games room in the barn adjacent to the farm house, with full size table tennis table Guests with children can use the large garden with swing and slide (be aware there is a deep pond in this area). The wood burning stove can be lit on chilly nights to supplement the oil fired central heating. There are colour TV’s in all bedrooms.
